I wish to not need any,
To be selfless enough to use my wishes for the many.
I wish not for calm,
For fear of boredom,
Without ups and downs.
I wish to know the right questions but not the solutions,
It is the search for those that will effect my many evolutions.
I wish to love with such an intensity,
That in the time it takes to pull the trigger,
My potential assailant would drop their weapon,
And stagger forwards to embrace me in tears.
Most of all, I wish I will have such pretty things to say,
When it is my actual birthday.
